  1. Dear,Mr.Miller
While I was researching about planets I have found out more about Planet X.There is a theory but I don’t know the name and its about Planet X crashing into earth.I have read that if a Planet were to crash into earth the projectile would be the brightest object in the night sky. Also, Nibru or Planet X is fake.Even though its a giant rock like a planet I think its a fake,Scientists are trying to find new planets each year but its always not really a planet. So this time I think its not going to be one!

  2. Dear Mr.Miller,
I have a question about the earths core.
Will the sun ever get to the same heat level as the earths core?
The sun is dwindling down in the heat so that is why I was wondering about that.

  3. Dear Mr.Miller,

I have some more information for you about Pluto being a dwarf planet. When I first heard of the word “dwarf plant” didn’t know what it meant. So found some information a website and I found what a dwarf planet is.A dwarf planet it a small round planet like land that is kind of a planet but is to small and doesn’t have all the criteria to be called a planet.

  4. Dear Mr.Miller,

I received your question, and I believe the “greenhouse” effect is when the suns warmth is in the lower part of the atmosphere so because Venus has the “greenhouse” effect it makes the sun closer to the surface which makes the planet hot. Also, the other question you asked me I think I have a answer for you. I think carbon dioxide does play some kind of role in the “greenhouse” effect. An example is the “greenhouse” effect traps heat and effects the carbon dioxide.

    Sincerely,
    Isabelle Baginski

  5. Dear Mr.Miller,

At the end of the day I wanted to ask you a question and my question was, why is Venus hotter then Mercury even though Venus is farther away from the sun?So I went online and found a answer. The reason why Venus is hotter then Mercury is because Venus has a “greenhouse” effect, also Venus is mostly made out of carbon dioxide. That is how Venus is hotter then Mercury, and I think this information will help the Solar System group.

    Sincerely,
    Isabelle Baginski

    1. Dear Isabelle,

I would agree with the results of your research. However, I would be interested in knowing what you believe the “greenhouse” effect to be and whether carbon dioxide plays a role in that effect ?

      Sincerely,
      Mr. Miller

  6. Dear Mr.Miller,

A couple days ago I asked you why scientist didn’t count Pluto as a planet. So I went into my Science textbook Volume 2 page 548 and I found my answer. The reason why no one calls Pluto a planet is because it is a dwarf planet.I don’t want to tell you everything because I would like to see who can respond about in our class.

    Sincerely,
    Isabelle Baginski

  7. Dear Sam,

I saw your comment on the blog and I have a answer for you.The reason why they call Venus Earth’s “sister planet” is because they have almost the same size and they have almost the same mass.I hope this information is helpful to you and our peers. However Sam and the
and the rest of our peers.Do you know any other planets who have “sisters” and can you tell me why, by posting on the blog?

    Thank you.

    Sincerely,
    Isabelle Baginski

  8. Dear My peers,
While I was watching a video on brainpop, it stated that Venus is sometimes called Earth’s “sister planet”. Maybe that is because they might be relatively close in size, but I am not completely sure. If anyone finds the answer, please post a comment or tell me.
